What you’ll do at SOL:
- Guide and coach Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to delivery high-quality products and services to our clients
- Recognize areas of strength and improvement within Scrum Team; use appropriate coaching/development techniques to ensure team performance
- Manage risk to delivery by raising and resolving team impediments as they arise
- Facilitate and support all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Create and maintain the appropriate vehicles for open communication with Scrum Team (dashboards, tracker boards, etc.)
- Track and report team progress using Agile metrics (capacity, burndown, velocity charts, etc.)
- Act as a champion of Agile practices within our client organizations
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or another related field
- Expertise as an Agile trainer/educator
- Proficient in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospective, and other Scrum techniques
- JIRA experience, ideally as an administrator
- Experience leading distributed/virtual teams
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- 5+ years experience in one or more Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD, CI)
