Location: Remote – US CST
Sol is a next-gen consulting firm that helps our clients’ level up their tech, operations, and product/service offerings. We aren’t just advisors we’re doers. We use AI tools to accelerate workflows and deliver faster results. From discovery to full-scale program delivery, we take our clients from vision to decision and from doing to done.
The Role:

We are implementing Certinia Professional Services Cloud (PSA). Salesforce sits at the center of a larger set of systems that includes NetSuite, MuleSoft, Workday, and other business platforms.
This person takes ownership, spots problems early, and brings recommendations forward. They are comfortable with ambiguity, can lay out options and tradeoffs, and make technical decisions without waiting for detailed direction. Note this is a contract opportunity
Core Responsibilities:
- Own the Salesforce solution and technical architecture, and make sure it scales, is easy to maintain, and meets business needs.
- Lead architecture across Sales Cloud, Certinia PSA, and the quote-to-cash and professional services lifecycle.
- Turn business requirements and operational problems into practical technical solutions.
- Identify architectural risks, gaps, and technical debt, and recommend fixes.
- Decide when to use native Salesforce functionality, custom development, third-party apps, middleware, or other enterprise systems.
- Work with MuleSoft and other technical teams to design integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite, Workday, contract management, expense management, and data/reporting platforms.
- Define application boundaries, systems of record, data ownership, and integration patterns.
- Guide Salesforce data models, security, automation, APIs, and platform governance.
- Give technical direction to Salesforce admins, developers, integration teams, and implementation partners.
- Work with Sales, Finance, Professional Services/Delivery, Resource Management, IT, and other teams so systems support business processes end to end.
- Explain recommendations, options, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including senior technical or architecture roles
- Must have participated in a large-scale Salesforce implementation
- Expertise in Sales Cloud and the broader Salesforce platform
- Communication and collaboration skills across business, technical, and leadership teams
- Knowledge of quote-to-cash processes
- Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, automation, APIs, and integrations
- Experience designing Salesforce solutions in integrated enterprise environments
- Understanding of integration patterns, including APIs, middleware, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture
- Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Flow, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, and Platform Events
- Ability to turn business needs into practical solutions that scale
- A track record of investigating issues independently, developing options, and seeing solutions through
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing or supporting Certinia PSA
- Experience with NetSuite, MuleSoft, Workday, or similar platforms
- Background in professional services, consulting, or project-based organizations
- Understanding of master data management and data governance
- Experience with professional services estimating, project setup, resource management, and billing
